The City of Green welcomes children ages 12 and under to participate in our Fishing Derby at the Boettler Park Pond, 5300 Massillon Road, on Saturday, May 9 at 9 am. Check-in begins at 8:45 am and the derby will begin promptly at 9 am. Poles are to be removed from the pond at 11 am.Age groups:
5 years old and under
6 to 7 years old
8 to 9 years old
10 to 12 years old
Smaller children can be helped by a parent or guardian if needed.
Awards are presented to children in each age group for longest fish, shortest fish, most fish caught, and more! This is a free event. Participants must bring their own fishing pole and bait!
