CHILDREN OF GOD tells the story of an Oji-Cree family whose children were taken away to a residential school. Set in the 1950s and 1970s, this powerful story explores the impacts of the residential school system while celebrating Indigenous resilience.
Inspired by First Nations music, Corey Payette’s moving score also includes echoes of Broadway hits like Fun Home and Next to Normal. 🎶
