Ragamala Dance Company returns to the Harris Theater Family Series with a special, abbreviated performance of Children of Dharma, a new work that explores the rippling effects that dharma (“right action”) can have across the world. This shorter performance will include additional narration curated specifically for young audience members and their families. Centering ancestral wisdom and creativity to contextualize the immigrant experience, Ragamala Dance Company continues to uphold dance as a spiritual practice that can inspire, heal, and transform communities – and important message for all ages.
Our Family Series performances offer high-quality, engaging programming designed to cultivate the next generation of arts lovers. These hour-long performances are designed for children ages 4 and older and fun for the entire family, with educational materials and opportunities to interact with the artists appearing onstage. And as always, audiences are encouraged to laugh, clap, and experience the theater in their own way — no shushing allowed!
