Children in the Fire
A Documentary Film Screening and Discussion
Join us for a screening of Children in the Fire, a documentary by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Evgeny Afineevsky (Winter on Fire), followed by a panel discussion with representatives of partner organizations.
The film follows eight Ukrainian children pursuing their dreams while living through Russia’s full-scale invasion. Combining live-action footage with animated recreations and diary-style storytelling, it presents the experiences of young survivors with honesty and compassion. The film has screened at the Raindance Film Festival in London and the Mill Valley Film Festival in the United States.
