Where: Starting at Richmond Station, walking into Richmond Park, London
When: Saturday 16 May 2026
10:00am-4:00pm (the walk will take at least 4 hours)
Registration cost: a donation of £15 per person minimum including a free CCC T-shirt (children under 12 go free)
Join us for a fantastic summer’s day out - a 10-mile walk along the Thames and through Isabella Plantation with a picnic in the beautiful Richmond Park. Help us raise funds and help children build lasting peace and opportunity in Colombia. Meet new people who care about Colombia as much as you do, try some delicious empanadas, and practise your Spanish or your English or both!
Sponsorship
Our goal is to raise £7,000! The entry ticket is £15 but we ask that you try to raise a minimum of £50 sponsorship to help us reach our goal. Please set up your fundraiser on JustGiving here.
The Route
We will start at Richmond Station (MEETING POINT) and follow the Thames Pathway to Teddington Lock, before heading into the regal wilderness of Richmond Park (see map below).
Other options:
- Join the shorter route - 4.5 miles (please let us know if you will be doing the shorter version).
- Run instead of walking! Please let us know if you’d be interested in joining our friendly group of runners to run the route instead of walking.
T-shirts
If you've given your size when purchasing a ticket your T-shirts will be given to you on the morning of the walk at Richmond station.
How to register
Purchase a ticket through making a £15 donation. If you'd like to purchase 2 tickets please do so separately.
