Bodytonic Music Presents Funk Fridays! A new live music series showcasing Irelands best Funk at The Top Deck!
30th Sept | Chief Keegan: Chief Keegan are an instrumental funk band from Dublin. This four piece are greatly influenced by bands like Vulfpeck,The Meters, Lettuce and Galactic. Bluesy and with a deep groove, it is music filled with funky salmony goodness. Since their formation Chief Keegans gigs of note have been playing at Knockanstockan, Bray Jazz Festival and The Cork Jazz Festival.p of Irish talent with a changing lineup of players that started with the band's original vocalist, Hozier.

22nd July | Toshin : Toshín have evolved over the last four years into the vibrant 6-piece it is today. Taking inspiration from a variety of music spanning from early Motown to modern soul/RnB artists such as Tank and the Bangas and Anderson . Paak, their original songs can be put into an incredibly wide range of genres.
12th Aug | Zaska : Max Zaska is a guitarist, songwriter, musical director, and producer best known for his feel-good blend of modern funk, neo-soul, and indie jazz. He leads ZASKA, a supergroup of Irish talent with a changing lineup of players that started with the band's original vocalist, Hozier.

7th Oct | Mik Pyro: Michael Tierney, better known as Mick Pyro, is an Irish musician. He is best known as the frontman of the Dublin funk rock band Republic of Loose. He has also partaken in other independent work with fellow Irish and international musicians and performed a duet with Sinéad O'Connor . In recent years Mik has released some new material including the single 'very strange' in 2018 to great acclaim.
