Join for the 53rd annual Chicago Pride Parade stepping off at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Tens of thousands of people are expected to pack the parade route, which starts in the Uptown neighborhood, passes through Lakeview and wraps up in Lincoln Park. This year, 125 contingents will march under the theme Pride is Power.
The parade kicks off at 11 AM on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Montrose Avenue and Broadway in Uptown and ends near the intersection of Diversey Parkway and Sheridan Road in Lincoln Park.
Celebrate all of the fun and fabulous LGBTQIA+ diversity with the largest pride event of the year! Each year, the Chicago Pride Parade serves as a vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ pride, bringing together our communities and allies in a display of unity and solidarity.
The parade features 125 registered entries. You’ll see celebratory floats, festively-outfitted vehicles, a variety of performance groups, a marching band, and many revelers on foot. Parade participants will represent community organizations, businesses, governmental officials and individual community members, all gathered to commemorate the history and celebrate the legacy of the fight for LGBTQ rights.
Parade Route
The Chicago Pride Parade steps off from Montrose and Broadway and will then travel the 21-block parade route south on Broadway; then south on Halsted; then east on Belmont; then south on Broadway; then east on Diversey to Cannon Drive.
