Join us on Fur-Free Friday, a yearly animal rights tradition and international day of action against the violent fur trade - on the busiest shopping day of the year! For decades, activists have been hitting the streets on this day to increase pressure on the last remaining fashion houses that still sell real animal fur. We intend to keep this tradition alive until the fur industry is truly dead. With recent fur-free victories - such as Vogue Magazine with their recently declared fur-free policy across all publications, local business Nina Chicago going fur-free; countries like Switzerland, Slovakia, Estonia, and Norway enacting fur bans; and the entire EU currently considering a fur ban - the grassroots anti-fur movement will not be stopped.
Millions of fur-bearing animals are still trapped in wire cages, unable to experience even a basic level of freedom or joy. The scale of death and suffering that these remaining companies are responsible for is incomprehensible. We will show them no peace until they commit to a fur-free policy and empty their cages.
