What is this?
A first-time, community meetup for people actually working on ETA. We’ll keep it simple: brief intro, a clear snapshot of our firm and pipeline, what we’re seeing across deals/lenders/sellers, then time to connect.
Agenda (45–60 min):
• Welcome (5 min): quick intro and ground rules
• Aslam Capital snapshot (10–15 min): who we are, focus areas, current pipeline, recent lessons
• What we’re seeing (10–15 min): valuation bands, lender appetite/terms, seller expectations, red flags to watch
• Open networking (20–25 min): meet peers, lenders, brokers, and operators
Who should come: Self-funded searchers, independent sponsors, lenders/BDOs, brokers, operators, and LPs.
Ground rules:
• Free and open to the public
• No product pitches, sales tables, or signage stands
• Please support the venue by buying your own food/drink from vendors
• We’ll cluster a few communal tables and leave the area as we found it
Where to meet: Level 6 Bar & Study, sofas by the Michigan Ave windows (Aster Hall, 900 N Michigan). If Level 6 is full, we’ll move to Level 5 communal tables. Look for simple table tents labeled “ETA Meetup — Gold Coast.”
