We all have our favorite spirits - bourbon, tequila, gin...but sometimes we want a little less alcohol. How do you use high-proof spirits in low-abv drinks and how do you end up with a delicious classic cocktail without sacrificing flavor and complexity?

Amie Ward (WOW Bartender of the Year, The Healthtender) and Gina Fossitt (Dandelion BevEd) take you through an interactive workshop where you'll learn about low and no-abv ingredients that compliment some of your favorite high-abv spirits when you want to take it down a notch.

We'll explore the makeup, flavor components, and production styles of the spirits as well as the low- and no-abv ingredients to understand why they are key component to some great cocktails with less booze. After shaking things up at the cocktail station (you'll get hands-on instruction to make these cocktails!), you'll l leave with a better understanding of lower abv cocktails, some recipes to make at home, and the confidence to do so!
