Run to Support Chinatown Youth! This summer, Project: VISION will be bringing back the Chinatown 5K & Youth Run! Come join us for a fun event to bring community together while supporting essential programs for our youth.
The USATF-certified course will start in front of the Ping Tom Park Fieldhouse at 1700 S. Wentworth Avenue, run north to on the Wells-Wentworth connector in Block 78 up to Roosevelt Road, then loop back south through the historic Chinatown gate down to 26th Street, and finally back up to finish in front of the Fieldhouse.
Cost:
- 5K Race: $40 early-bird (until 3/15), $45 after 3/15
- Youth Dash: $20 early-bird (until 3/15), $30 after 3/15
- Virtual 5K: $50
All runners receive race bib (with chipped timing), t-shirt, and medal. Stay tuned for updates on packet pickup details, post-race treats, and other goodie bag giveaways!
Race Day Schedule:
7:50 AM Pre-race Lion Dance
8:00 AM Start of 5K race
9:00 AM Start of 200m Youth Dash (ages 6-8)
9:10 AM Start of 400m Youth Dash (ages 9-11)
Followed by post-race refreshments and raffle!
