About this Event
Join Cleveland photographer Gabe Wasylko for a spring afternoon chasing one of the year’s most fleeting subjects: the cherry blossoms of University Circle.
In this stunning cultural district, soft blooms frame and contrast the grand architecture of one of Cleveland’s most iconic corridors. The 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM window places us perfectly within the golden hour. As we wander past museum facades, garden paths, and sculptures, we'll hunt for petal-filled compositions. Along the way, Gabe will share his unique eye for light and storytelling before the blossoms disappear for another year.
What to Expect:
- A guided walk through Wade Oval and the Cleveland Museum of Art gardens.
- Creative tips on framing architecture with organic spring textures.
- The opportunity to capture the beauty of the cherry blossoms before they are gone.
All experience levels are welcome – Come ready to slow down, look up, and embrace the softness of spring! 🌸
👟 What to bring: a 24-70mm lens if you have one -- it handles everything this walk throws at you, from wide compositions framing the museum against a blossom canopy to close-detail shots of petals catching the late afternoon light.
Also bring: Comfortable walking shoes, lightweight gear, and a creative eye.
