Chemical Engineering Design Challenge

Chemical engineering is all about changing raw materials into useful products you use everyday in a safe and cost-effective way.

For students interested in studying chemical engineering or related subjects at university, this taster session will provide an opportunity to gain an understanding of what chemical engineering is.

Students will visit our state-of-the-art labs and take part in a group design challenge in our teaching laboratory.

Age range suitability: 16-18

All under 16s must be attending with an adult who understands the nature of this event and ensures the minor/s are supervised at all times.

For School Group bookings, please note someone from the festival team will contact you for a list of attendees, to provide more details and to answer any of your questions. Please do not book tickets unless you already have an attendee to fill each space.
