A Cheeky kórus különböző népek dalait, egyéni fűszerezéssel tálalják. Repertoárjuk főleg világzenei dalokból áll – a magyar népzenei feldolgozásokon túl többek között a szomszédos balkán, román, szerb, macedón, de a távolabbi finn, szefárd, görög, afrikai, brazil és haiti népek dalai is inspirálják őket. KONFERENCIA:
Az előadás a Kisebbségek Egymásért (Minorities for Minorities) kétnapos konferencia programjának része. A Bálint Ház, a Budapest Pride, az Uccu Roma Informális Oktatási Alapítvány és a CEU konzorciuma által szervezett esemény a roma, a zsidó és az LMBTQ közösségek tapasztalatait, kihívásait és együttműködési lehetőségeit járja körül.

The Cheeky Choir presents songs from different nations with their own unique flavor. Their repertoire mainly consists of world music pieces – in addition to Hungarian folk adaptations, they draw inspiration from the neighboring Balkan, Romanian, Serbian, and Macedonian traditions, as well as from the more distant Finnish, Sephardic, Greek, African, Brazilian, and Haitian cultures.
The performance is part of the Minorities for Minorities two-day conference. Organized by a consortium of Bálint Ház, Budapest Pride, the Uccu Roma Informal Educational Foundation, and CEU, the event focuses on the experiences, challenges, and potential collaborations of Roma, Jewish, and LGBTQ communities.
