This year’s theme, Cultura, Comunidad, y Poder, recognizes the vital role Puerto Rican culture, institutions, and community leadership continue to play in shaping civic engagement, political influence, and the future of El Barrio and beyond.

We are also proud to honor the Honorable Nydia Velázquez in recognition of her historic career and enduring contributions to Puerto Rican communities and public service as she retires from Congress this year.
