Thursday November 6th, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) can’t wait to welcome to our stage for the very first time, Chasing Squirrels and Tall Poppies! We can’t wait for this co-headlining bill from these two bands! This night is going to be a ton of fun and there will be great music! The show starts at 7:30pFormed in 2021, Chasing Squirrels is an alternative rock band that blends math-rock and alternative into eclectic, high energy songs. Drawing inspiration from bands like Broken Social Scene and Sunny Day Real Estate, Chasing Squirrels creates a dynamic experience. Their live set combines music from their new EP, previously released songs, and a few covers/mashups.
90’s Noise-rock scenesters Brian Doyle, Jeff Gostick and Greg Miller (Egolillys, Bloorstation) return to Toronto clubs with musical friends Dan Murphy and Rob Hatton and a new identity as Tall Poppies, absolutely murdering a mix of semi-obscure 60’s and 70’s psych pop, funk, and glam.
