About this Event
Join us for the Young Dreamers Workshop, a free interactive experience designed to inspire creativity, confidence, imagination, and goal-setting among young participants.
Led by author Nathan Rubin, this workshop combines storytelling, learning activities, creativity, and meaningful conversations to encourage kids and teens to dream big and believe in themselves.
This event is divided into two age-based sections to create a more engaging and age-appropriate experience for everyone.
I. Younger Dreamers
Perfect for younger children (ages 4-11) who love stories, imagination, and hands-on learning.
Activities may include:
- Story reading sessions
- Interactive worksheets and handouts
- Creative activities
- Conversations about goals and dreams
- Confidence-building exercises
II. Future Dreamers
Designed for older kids and teens (ages 12-16) looking for inspiration, direction, and creativity.
Topics may include:
- Goal setting
- Writing and storytelling
- Personal growth and confidence
- Inspiration and motivation
- Community discussions
Meet the Facilitator: Nathan Rubin
Nathan Rubin is a writer, athlete, economist, and storyteller with a passion for inspiring the next generation. When he's not on the basketball court, he's pouring his heart into writing—whether it's poetry, reflections on life, or stories that uplift children.
Nathan currently studies Economics, Community Relations, and Diaspora at the Liberal Arts College of the University of Massachusetts Boston.
His debut children's book was created with one goal in mind: to spark imagination while teaching lessons of confidence, kindness, and self-belief. Nathan believes stories have the power to plant seeds of strength and joy in young readers, helping them see themselves as heroes in their own lives.
Through his book, Nathan hopes to create moments of laughter, learning, and inspiration for kids and families alike.
