CHASELOVE Pop-up Closet

The CHASELOVE Pop-up Closet is a monthly community event dedicated to serving our unsheltered neighbors and low-income immigrant families in Redwood City and surrounding areas.

Every 3rd Saturday of the month, we transform El Concilio into a welcoming space where families can “shop” for free clothing with dignity. Beyond clothing, the pop-up also brings together community partners to provide resources, support, and connection.

• Dignity & Care: Families and individuals get to select clothing items they need in a respectful, boutique-style environment.
• Community Resources: Partner organizations table to offer vital services like housing, health, education, and legal support.
• Youth Empowerment: CHASELOVE engages youth and community members as volunteers, helping them grow as leaders while serving others.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of the Pop-up Closet! Roles include:

• Setup Crew (8:00–9:00 AM): Help arrange racks, tables, and clothing displays.
• Guest Support (9:00–11:00 AM): Greet families, assist with clothing selection, restock items.
• Breakdown Team (11:00–12:00 PM): Pack up leftover items and reset the space.
• Outreach Support (ongoing): Help spread the word in your community.
