P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Charlotte Druckman and Mayukh Sen to celebrate and discuss their new book Love in the Afternoon, and Evening; a drama-packed, format-busting tribute to the soap opera in all its messy, meaningful glory. The talk will be moderated by Ira Madison III, author of the essay collection Pure Innocent Fun. Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, they will also sign copies of their book.
Doors open at 6:30pm with the talk starting closer to 7pm. Come early and grab a drink from the !

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Charlotte Druckman is an award-winning writer, author of Skirt Steak, and creator of the collection Women on Food. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and New York Magazine, among others. She lives in New York, where she was born and raised.
Mayukh Sen is the author of Love, Queenie—a finalist for the 2025 National Book Critics Circle Award for Biography—and Taste Makers. He is a 2026 United States Artists Fellow and teaches film and television reporting and criticism at New York University. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR:
Ira Madison III is the author of the nationally best-selling Pure Innocent Fun: Essays, called "a brilliant critical voice" by Kirkus Reviews and "humorous and perceptive" by The Washington Post, and former creator & host of the pop culture podcast “Keep It” (Webby Awards People’s Voice Award 2021 & 2023, iHeartRadio Best Pop Culture Podcast 2022). He has also written for GQ, Harper's Bazaar, New York, and Interview among other publications. His television credits include Uncoupled, Q-Force, Nikki Fre$h, and So Help Me Todd. He lives in New York City.
