Charlie Jacobson is an accomplished musician and emerging songwriter. His music spans many genres including blues, funk, roots, rock and R&B. Charlie is a passionate guitarist with an uncompromising sense of groove and musicality. A decade of study on drums and guitar gives him a rock solid rhythmic base on which to layer driving guitar riffs and beautiful vocal melodies. Charlie is equally competent entertaining as a solo singer songwriter at a house concert or folk festival, or fronting his blues-rock band. He loves to perform and is in demand as a front and sideman on guitar, drums and vocals by many bands.Charlie was exposed early to diverse styles, attending folk festivals, rock shows, musical theatre, community classical, jazz and bluegrass concerts and sleeping above rehearsals of his parents’ rhythm and blues and folk bands. His original music borrows on all of these influences, into which he pours a strong work ethic and a good dose of humility. The result is driving blues-rock with a sensitive heart.
