Charles de Kay and the Founding of the National Arts Club

Club historian Dr. Eugene Weise will tell us the fascinating story of polymath Charles de Kay. During the Gilded Age, he brought together a group of eminent New Yorkers to charter a new, innovative club called the National Arts Club. We will learn why the club has survived for 127 years in one of the great Victorian mansions of Gramercy Park.
