An evening to chat with women changemakers about womanhood and motherhood over a happy-hour drink!
About this Event

A safe place for women changemakers (and aspiring women changemakers) to meet one another;

A small-scale gathering where you can actually have intentional conversations with everyone;

A community you show up and participate equally as an agent of change;

A space to exchange stories and find inspirations to bring collective impact;

A tribe you can come back to every month as your support network and build authentic friendship.

This is what this gathering is about. For women changemakers.

This May, we are diving into the conversations about womanhood and motherhood - what a huge topic to discuss in just one night, I know! Exploring and deciding your own definition of womanhood is inevitable as part of the journey as a woman. And as a woman changemaker, how does that influence your impact journey? Let's talk about it on May 14 evening, shall we?

Carmen (Girls Be Change) and Dorothy (Dream Impact) are inviting all women changemakers who are mothers/ want to be mothers/ choose not to mothers/ are still figuring it out/ everything in between, to join us in this gathering of intentional conversations. It is a place without judgement, only questions and discussions.

It will be an interesting evening where our co-organizers, Carmen and Dorothy, are women changemakers without any kid, whilst our cohost Lena is a mother of two and founded Momtrepreneurs that empowers mothers to continue having their venture, and Patricia is a single mom of a five-years old girl and co-founded Impact Circles that connects social innovators, non-profits, funders and policymakers.

What is this Changemaker Community Series about?

The idea of the changemaker gathering series started when Dorothy (Dream Impact) and Carmen (Girls Be Change) met last year, questioning and envisioning what an ideal community is and why we need to gather (so desperately). We need a safe place among women changemakers to have organic meetups, intentional conversations and idea exchange with social ease, find inspirations and encouragement from each other, and build authentic friendships and support networks. It is a gathering where everyone shows up as an equal participant, questioning and chatting. No panel. No presentation. No speech. Just intentional conversations.

This gathering is open only to women changemakers (and aspiring women changemakers).
