About this Event

Join partners from across Greater Manchester for a shared learning event exploring how movement and physical activity can support person-centred social care through workforce engagement, partnership working and system change.

About the Event

We know some groups are more likely to be inactive than others, completing less than 30 minutes of moderate physical activity a week. Embedding movement and physical activity into health and social care is one way we can help change this.

Building on a previous shared learning event on Enabling Workforce Engagement in Person-Centred Social Care, this follow-up session will bring together partners from across Greater Manchester. Together, we'll explore how movement can support person-centred care and improve outcomes for both people receiving care and the workforce.

Facilitated by Lauren Coulman, founder of Noisy Cricket, the session will bring together community initiatives, strategic partners and system leaders to explore the potential of link roles and their connection to movement and physical activity.
