Why does society need doctoral education?Today’s societal challenges require new knowledge, new competences, and strong collaboration between academia, industry, and the public sector.
At the first Chalmers Doctoral Day, we bring together academia and representatives from industry and the public sector to explore and discuss the role of doctoral education and research in innovation and societal development.
Join us for an afternoon of engaging pitch presentations from doctoral students, insights into Chalmers innovation ecosystem, and dialogue on how doctoral education and research create value beyond academia.
One of the sessions to look forward is the panel discussion “The value of doctoral education to society”, where we will discuss the importance of doctoral education and how it contributes to knowledge, competence, and societal development.
