Chakra Pilates – Sacral Chakra - Creativity, Motivation & Passion with Alex GinnsDate and Time:

Join Alexandra Ginns, Pilates teacher and Reiki healer, for these special monthly Chakra Mat Pilates workshops. Continuing from the Root Chakra last month, this session focuses on the Sacral Chakra — your desires, creativity, motivation and drive. Alex invites you to move with ease, tune into your body, aiming to balance that part of us that quite often feels depleted. You may often feel like you have no energy to move forwards, blocked from creating new ideas, embodying your passions. Balancing the sacral Chakra may help you to reignite your inner flame.
Rooted in the energy of the sacral chakra, this two-hour experience encourages gentle exploration of movement, emotion, and breath. The workshop supports a sense of balance and ease, helping you feel more connected, settled, and supported within your body, whilst developing knowledge, strength and community.
Pilates Class:
The Pilates segment works the whole body, with a calm emphasis on the pelvis, hips, lower back, and lower abdomen — the physical areas associated with the sacral chakra. Expect smooth, continuous movements and breath-led sequences designed to improve mobility, coordination, and stability. Imagery will draw on water and natural flow, encouraging softness and control rather than effort or force. Props will be used throughout to support and adapt the practice, making the workshop accessible to all levels and abilities.
Guided Meditation, Reiki & Journaling:
Alongside movement, there will be a grounding educational and reflective segment where Alexandra will guide you through the meaning and themes of the sacral chakra. This includes space for questions and answers, guided journalling, and oracle card picking, allowing time for reflection, clarity, and intuitive insight.
The workshop will close with a calming guided meditation, designed to clear stagnant energy, settle the nervous system, and support a more balanced relationship with your sacral chakra.
What do I bring?
All equipment is provided, though you’re very welcome to bring your own if you prefer. I do however, recommened bringing a journal to write down notes, thoughts and your experiences. After the workshop, drinks and snacks are available to purchase in the café, offering a gentle return to the rest of your day.
