To mark the auspicious advent of Chaitra Padwa, the traditional New Year in the Indian calendar, Migrant Heritage Charitable Trust Inc (MigHT-i) invite you to an evening of refined Indian Classical Music featuring Kalapini Komkali.Trained in the rich lineage of Indian classical vocalism, Kalapini Komkali is known for her thoughtful raga elaboration, aesthetic restraint, and a deep engagement with both melodic structure and emotional nuance. Her presentations reflect a balance of tradition (parampara) and individual interpretative insight, appealing equally to discerning rasikas and attentive newcomers.
She will be accompanied by Ramendra Singh Solanki on Tabla, whose sensitive rhythmic support and command over layakari enhance the architectural clarity of the recital, and Abhishek Shinkar on Harmonium, offering melodic reinforcement marked by tonal finesse and responsiveness.
Together, the ensemble promises a cohesive and immersive concert experienceโwhere raga, tala, and bhava unfold in dialogue, creating an atmosphere befitting reflection, renewal, and artistic celebration.
