DMHA is providing an in-person, 40-hour Certified Peer Support Professional. This in-person training will be held at the Ivy Tech in Valparaiso 3100 Ivy Tech Dr. Valparaiso, IN. Whether you're looking to start a career in peer support or enhance your skills, this training is perfect for you. Learn from experienced professionals and gain the knowledge and tools needed to support others effectively.
This 40-hour training will be Wednesday Wednesday, March18th - Friday March 20th AND Wednesday, March 25th - Friday, March 27th, 2026 in the following rooms:
- Wednesday March 18th - Room D241
- Thursday March 19th - Room D241
- Friday March 20th - Room D240
- Wednesday March 25th - Room D241
- Thursday March 26th - Room D241
- Friday March 27th - Room D240
This training runs from 8:00am-3:00pm each day. ALL days must be attended to be eligible for the examination. Lunch is on your own.
To qualify for the training individuals must
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have personal lived experience of recovery from a mental health condition, substance use or problem gambling and/or
- Have personal lived experience assisting a family member with a mental health condition, substance use or problem gambling
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent*
- Must live or work in Indiana at least 51% of the time
