Passionate and disciplined, she emphasises cashflow management, resilience, and tenant care as keys to long-term success. Her goal: to grow her portfolio while inspiring others to turn their property passion into sustainable business ventures.

David Burns — Partner, Ronald Fletcher Baker

David Burns is a Partner at Ronald Fletcher Baker, based in the firm’s West End office on Baker Street, London. Recognised as a Leading Individual by The Legal 500, he’s described as “a charming yet aggressive litigator” with “great technical knowledge, worn lightly.”

David specialises in property and commercial litigation, acting across the High Court, County Court, and Property Tribunals. He is particularly experienced in high-value financial disputes and bridging finance litigation, advising lenders throughout the full loan cycle — from due diligence to recovery.

He also leads the firm’s contentious leasehold enfranchisement department, and is regarded as “a go-to for advice on enfranchisement and residential lease extensions.”

David regularly advises developers, landlords, and lenders on complex property disputes and strategic redevelopment matters. He is a member of the Property Litigation Association, ALEP, and the London Irish Lawyers Association.
