About this Event
Centering is an invitation to step out of the noise, and into a quieter, more coherent state, where your body can begin to recalibrate from the inside out.
This integrated experience weaves together the precision of Japanese acupuncture with the fluid, responsive nature of somatic energetics; working through the body’s meridian system as well as the energetic field beyond it.
— WHAT TO EXPECT —
This is an intimate restorative gathering limited to 6 participants, designed to offer a slower, more held space for individual nervous system support within a gentle group setting. Participants may experience increased body awareness, subtle energetic shifts, and enhanced nervous system regulation.
Somatic Energetics: An integrated somatic and energetic facilitation experience informed by Hilary’s work in Spinal Flow and Spinal Energetics, alongside broader somatic bodywork principles, trauma-informed support, gentle breath awareness, and nervous system–based energetic work.
Held in a slow, restorative, and intimate group setting, this experience works in relation to each participant’s own body, nervous system and energetic field. The aim is to create conditions that supports the body’s inherent capacity to unwind, settle and reorganise.
Japanese Acupuncture: Japanese acupuncture is a refined and gentle healing practice rooted in sensitivity and precision. Rather than strong stimulation, it uses subtle, carefully applied techniques to support the body’s natural capacity for balance and repair, encouraging a state of ease and overall harmony.

— MEET YOUR FACILITATORS —
Zach Olesinski, R.Ac, ADS, is a Toronto-based acupuncturist trained at the Institute of Traditional Medicine, with over 2,000 hours in acupuncture, Eastern nutrition, and biomedical sciences. He practices a refined Japanese style developed by Mitsunori Seino, integrating hara diagnosis with gentle needling and moxibustion, and continues advanced training in Japan each year.
Registered with the CTCMPAO, Zach draws on diverse clinical experience to support a wide range of health concerns.
Hilary Ma is a Toronto-based somatic practitioner whose work centres on nervous system regulation, embodied restoration, and the spine as a central pathway of whole-body connection. With foundational studies in neuroscience and psychology at the University of Toronto, alongside continued training across somatic and trauma-aware approaches, her work draws from both Western understandings of physiology, biomechanics and regulation and Eastern perspectives on energetic balance, subtle responsiveness, and whole-body integration.
Having spent nearly a decade working within global corporate environments, Hilary brings a grounded understanding of the chronic pressure, disconnection, and high-functioning overwhelm that many modern nervous systems quietly carry. Rather than approaching the body as something to be fixed, her work recognises it as an intelligent system seeking the right conditions to reorganise, reconnect and heal.
