Centennial Innovates 2024: Applied Research, Innovation & Entrepreneurship

The Centennial Innovates 2024 Symposium will showcase the excellent work done by our staff, faculty and student innovators. This year's theme is Innovating with Impact, focused on our department's intentional commitment to sustainable, impactful innovation across all 7 key innovation areas: aerospace and advanced manufacturing, healthcare technologies, sustainable energy systems, transportation, social innovation, AI and explainable data, and sustainable and imapct entrepreneurship.

Our department has significantly expanded Centennial College's capacity for delivering high-quality, sustainable applied research, innovation and entrepreneurship activity over the past five years. Together, our national leadership in experiential student engagement, sustainability-focused innovation and entrepreneurship activities, and multidisciplinary relationships and expertise meaningfully impact every industry and community partner. We are committed to meeting the needs of the future of work by nurturing new essential skills for all graduates and their creativity and resilience through innovation, entrepreneurship, and changemaking. These values carry through to our innovation team and transform into the legacy that our student researchers and entrepreneurs receive: technical experience, practical skills, and an invaluable innovation mindset they take wherever they go.

Centennial Innovates is the applied research, innovation and entrepreneurship department at Centennial College. We lead the college's applied research and entrepreneurship activities and deliver high-quality, sustainable innovation support to industry and community partners.
