Welcome to the Celtic & Chakra Meditation weekly gathering with the Keeper of the Cauldron. The Cauldron is a time honoured vessel of potency, change & transformation through Celtic animism. Join us for a unique experience at Life Care Centre, Stockbridge, Edinburgh where we will explore the ancient wisdom of Celtic traditions and the energy centers of the body known as the Cauldrons, chakras. This in-person event offers a blend of relaxation, mindfulness, and spiritual connection with links to the Ogham, the ancient Celtic alphabet of trees.

Activating the 6 senses, Lorna creates a ceremonial table that uses locally sourced minerals, plants, foods, aromas and mantras for the focussed attention on the energy centre weaving Celtic and Chakra spiritual practices to balance and harmonize your energies and vibrational frequencies.

The seven main chakras:

1. Root Chakra – Muladhara: Located at the base of the spine, represents grounding and stability, security and root needs

2. Sacral Chakra – Svadhisthana: Located in the lower abdomen, represents vitality, emotions, creativity and sexuality

3. Solar Plexus – Manipura: Located in the upper abdomen, symbolising authenticity, will power, self-esteem and confidence

4. Heart Chakra – Anahata: Where love, compassion, forgiveness and empathy rests

5. Throat Chakra – Vishuddha: Located at the throat where communication, creativity, self-expression and truth rests

6. Third Eye – Pineal – Ajna: Located between the eyebrows where intuition, insight, clarity and inner wisdom rests

7. Crown Chakra – Sahasrara: Above the head where spiritual connection, enlightenment, peace, wellbeing and consciousness exists

Meditation is a practice through stillness of breathwork, intention and visualisation:
