Welcome to our Celtic & Chakra Meditation event! Join us at LifeCare Edinburgh for a unique experience that combines the ancient wisdom of Celtic traditions with the healing power of chakras. Immerse yourself in a serene environment where you can relax, rejuvenate, and realign your mind, body, and spirit. Discover the harmonious balance between these two mystical practices and embark on a journey of self-discovery and harmony.

Lorna offers guided weekly meditations weaving Celtic spirituality and Eastern practices of the chakras into her sessions. She creates a themed ceremonial table to activate the 6 senses in the journey to harmony and balance along with mantras to activate healing.

I specialize in weaving Celtic meditations with Chakra meditations which focusses on the 7 energy wheels in the body from the Root to the Crown Chakra. This is rooted in ancient Indian spiritual tradition and Buddhism. Through guided practice and breathwork, I draw you into the Chakras to reconnect you to your inner world and workings to enable balance, harmony and insights. With the use of mantras, colours and sound, this journey reconnects you to self and nature.

The seven main chakras:

1. Root Chakra – Muladhara: Located at the base of the spine, represents grounding and stability, security and root needs

2. Sacral Chakra – Swadhisthana: Located in the lower abdomen, represents vitality, emotions, creativity and sexuality

3. Solar Plexus – Manipura: Located in the upper abdomen, symbolising authenticity, will power, self-esteem and confidence

4. Heart Chakra – Anahata: Where love, compassion, forgiveness and empathy rests

5. Throat Chakra – Vishuddha: Located at the throat where communication, creativity, self-expression and truth rests

6. Third Eye – Pineal – Ajna: Located between the eyebrows where intuition, insight, clarity and inner wisdom rests

7. Crown Chakra – Sahasrara: Above the head where spiritual connection, enlightenment, peace, wellbeing and consciousness exists

Start this transformative experience, gift yourself with some space from no distractions and sit comfortably and easily. Begin with gently closing your eyes, giving attention to your breath, draw your breath to the Root Chakra with the colour red and give yourself a word relating to this area like, I am grounded. Take your breath to the next Chakra, Sacral with the colour orange and draw in one of the words here. Gently follow this practice through each of your chakra until you are complete.

Take a little time to reconnect, this is a time you may wish to write a note in your journal with what came up for you. Give thanks to the practice and enjoy the shift in energy that you experience.

The shift in energy that I experienced through meditation was astounding, I realized that through meditation, rather than Medic*tion, I could elevate my vibrational frequencies and sustainably enhance my wellbeing.
