In keeping with Rex’s wishes, he requested a joyful celebration of life at Booth District Park in his home of Pauoa Valley with all of his friends, classmates, and former coworkers, followed by a private family service on a different day. He shared these heart-felt wishes with his dear friend, Melanie, and we are coming together to make his wish come true.

Please bring your own chairs, tables, tents, and blankets. Due to limited parking, we ask that you carpool, rideshare, or of course, take the #6 bus as Rex would have loved.
Our goal is to honor Rex by "wrapping the park in leis," just like we do for May Day. To make this beautiful tribute happen, we are asking for help with flowers, leis, and "manpower" for the day of the event.
