Meet from 9:50 am for a 10 am departure from Brook Green, W6 7BD beside the tennis courts. This is a short ride of 4 miles via quiet streets in Hammersmith. We will be cycling at a leisurely slow pace, approximately 5-7 m/h. Route: https://www.komoot.com/tour/1483190925
Please join us in paying tribute to the women who have helped shape Hammersmith & Fulham as we mark Women’s History Month. We would like to invite you to a special free group bike ride around the Hammersmith borough. We are celebrating prominent women who lived in Hammersmith. This is a short ride full of history and facts. Come and learn about some of the many women who came before us and the women who made and make our borough an amazing place to live, work, and visit today.
This ride is a collaboration between Hammersmith and Fulham Council and Hammersmith & Fulham Cycling. This ride is part of the "Celebrating Women in H&F" events in March.
We expect to be back at Brook Green at about 13:00.
N B: If you plan to use a cargo bike or a tricycle, please contact me to change the route.
•Dress Code: Wear comfortable clothes, and look fabulous.
Film & Photography Consent
We take pictures during the ride. If you are coming to the ride you consent to your photographs being used to promote HFC’s aims and work. To opt out please speak to a ride marshal on the day.
As part of our agreed-upon fundraising, we request a donation of £2 or more for this ride. Please bring cash or pay by bank transfer on the day.
Bring locks, lights and carry a spare inner tube or a puncture repair kit. Bring a rain jacket just in case.
