Hosted by esteemed calligrapher and artist, Neda Mohammadnejad, you will be guided with the understanding of this form of art and to try it out yourself, taking home your piece of work. Special materials such as the ink and paper, coming directly from Iran, will be provided to enable your experience to be fully authentic.
“Calligraphy is a beautiful and authentic art that unites form and meaning.
This elegant art offers an experience of calm, focus, and creativity, inviting people to read, reflect, and connect more deeply with meaningful texts, poetry, and culture.
In this workshop, you will not only see this art, but also experience it for yourself.”
Spaces are very limited, so book your ticket early to avoid disappointment - tickets are £20 (plus Eventbrite fee). Baklava and Welsh cakes will be provided.
This event is led by Cymranian, which connects Wales and Iran. Follow Neda's work on Instagram."
