In the early 2000s Cedric stepped out from behind the kit and became his generation's frontman for the Hill Country Blues movement. Burnside has been a recipient of the National Heritage Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and has won a Grammy Award and been nominated for three others in the Best Blues / Best Traditional Blues categories. If you’re looking for the most compelling blues performer on tour today, the road leads to the Fairweather Social Club in Prescott, Arizona on July 10th and 11th.
