Hard-Swinging BigBand
A hard swinging and dynamic evening of music spotlighting “The Arrangers” Riddle/Quincy/Thad Jones/Ellington/Mancini/ Great Local Writers and More! This Kick Butt Big Band of musicians and Vocalist Colleen Raye are a great combination. Soloists in the band are outrageous including Jake Baldwin, Dave Brattain and Pete Enblom. You’ll hear Hard Swinging tunes and challenging charts that will knock your socks off. Powerhouse Vocalist Colleen Raye performs Mercer/Carmichael “Sky Lark,” Duke Ellington “I’m Gonna Go Fishing”, Rodgers and Hart “You Took Advantage of Me “arr. Riddle, Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice” and the moving ”Everything Must Change”.

Originally under the musical direction of the Late Great Steve Devich, This 16-piece Kick Butt Big Band now has Mike Haynes at the helm. This Killer Ensemble of musicians and Vocalist Colleen Raye are a great combination. Colleen is a veteran vocalist and entertainer touring across the country, recording, and producing shows. The band is filled with top notch players, each with their own notable history of performances and accomplishments.
