One more outdoor meditation by the lake to cap off the summer! Bring your own cushion/blanket and we’ll sit together and meditate at one of Toronto’s best nature spots, with the unique perspective of looking back at the city across the lake. Then we’ll head inland and gather for community connection and mindful fun for all ages!
Schedule:
1:30pm (or earlier) catch ferry to Ward’s Island
1:45-2:15pm – silent outdoor meditation on the beach next to the Ward’s Island ferry dock overlooking the city skyline
2:30-5:30pm CEC family picnic on the Ward’s Island field. We’ll gather on the south end of the sports field near the big willow tree at the corner of Withrow Street and Lakeshore Ave. Bring kids and snacks and drinks and games and whatever/whoever else to make for a fun filled afternoon!
5:45pm – ferry back to downtown or hit the beach and stay awhile!
