First Light Sponsorship
Please support First Light as a Sponsor — your contributions will help give birth to the Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture’s Centre of Excellence
The Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture aids survivors in overcoming the lasting effects of torture and war. In partnership with the community, CCVT supports survivors in the process of successful integration into Canadian society. We work with survivors to foster their protection and integrity, acting as a voice for people who, through extreme trauma, have lost their voice.
On Friday, November 8th, 2024, CCVT will be hosting our Annual First Light fundraiser and awards ceremony. The Trevor Bartram, Amina Malko, and the Francisco Rico Scholarship awards to recognize leaders, both prominent and unsung, for their contribution to the refugee and human rights sectors. We’ll also celebrate diversity and inspiration with compelling dance, music and other media.
