About this Event
CCMA Certification Exam Study & Skills Class
- Are you preparing for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Certification exam and wondering if you’re truly ready, or wishing you had just a little more time to review and practice your skills?
- Whether you're currently in a Medical Assistant program, recently graduated, preparing to recertify, or planning to retake the exam, you don’t have to go through the process alone.
- Have you ever walked out of a test thinking, “I knew this material, I just needed more practice and confidence”? This class is designed to give you that opportunity.
- Sometimes all it takes is the right review session, hands-on practice, and guidance to turn uncertainty into confidence before sitting for the CCMA exam.
Don’t let test anxiety, lack of practice, or time away from the field stop you from earning your CCMA certification. Get the review, skills practice, and confidence you need to succeed.
This CCMA Study & Skills Class was created specifically to support:
• Current Medical Assistant students preparing for certification
• Recently graduated students who want extra practice before taking the exam
• Former MAs preparing to recertify
During this class, we focus on both exam preparation and hands-on skills practice so you can feel more confident when it’s time to test.
What We Will Do in Class
This session includes a guided study session and clinical skills review.
Together we will:
• Review the CCMA study guide
• Work through a practice certification exam
• Practice essential clinical skills including:
- Vital signs
- Phlebotomy
- Injections
This class is designed to help you connect what you learned in school with real clinical practice and exam preparation.
You will receive a take-home study guide/practice test skills supply kit that allows you to practice up to 3-5 phlebotomy blood draws and injections. You will also receive sample triage forms, lab forms to practice on, vital sign cards to use to document your vital signs as well as order of draw cards.
Virtual Attendance Option
If you cannot attend in person, you can participate virtually through Zoom.
Virtual students will receive:
• A practice test and study guide emailed to you
• A practice toolkit mailed to your home that includes supplies for practicing phlebotomy and injections (Must register for a class that is at least 2 weeks out in order to receive in time for the class)
• Sample triage forms to practice documentation
