About this Event
5 teams present AI solutions for public transportation newtworks, lost and found items, migration support systems and youth loneliness challenges. In-person/online at IED BCN Point 2 (C/ San Salvador 70).
Challenge-Based Innovation for Artificial Intelligence (CBI4AI) is a program that originated and is based at CERN. Its explicit goal is to link CERN's open science, technology, and expertise to address societal challenges. The program brings together students with different backgrounds from Esade, UPC, and IED Barcelona to work around an SDG, incorporating cutting-edge technologies in the early stages of development, and an AI dimension to find solutions to the main social problems of our time.
The 20256 edition of CBI4AI the students focused on applying Graph Neural Networks to improve urban infrastructure regarding food, health and water.
On May 27h at 5 pm, six student teams will present the results of their 6-week learning and innovation journey. They will focus on SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 10 – Reduce inequalitie and SDG 3 – Good health and wellbeing, and also incorporate the AI dimension. We would like to invite you to attend the final presentations either online or in-person at IED Barcelona Point 2.
