About this Event
During this year's Congressional Black Caucus Conference, join Dream.Org, along with Environmental Defense Fund, Carbon180, FICPFM in a panel discussion that explores the intersection of innovation and liberation — how Black communities are reimagining climate resilience not just as protection from harm, but as a launchpad for healing, wealth-building, and power. The conversation will spotlight:
- Emerging Black tech entrepreneurs in climate and energy,
- The importance of public investment in Black-led solutions,
- and the urgent need to embed reentry pathways into the green economy.
From AI-powered efficiency tools to community-built data justice platforms, this panel celebrates the brilliance already within our reach — and what’s possible when we intentionally invest in it.
After the panel, join us for an engaging Interactive Environmental Justice Public Comment Training Workshop! This workshop, hosted by LaTricea Adams, Founder & CEO of Young, Gifted & Green, aims to empower participants with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively voice their concerns on environmental justice issues.
