Join us for the 2025 Artists' Studios Visit at Mana Contemporary. This spring's expanded edition will visit the studios of five prominent Chicago artists using diverse methods and materials to express their artistic lines of inquiry.
Miao Wang is a painter seeking knowledge through material exploration and rigorous conceptual thought. She is a recipient of the Chicago Artists' Coalition Spark Grant and participated in a fellowship at Oxbow's "Conversation in Practice."
Rory Monaghan is a self-taught mixed media artist who creates large 3D paintings inspired by "unruly rivers that sweep up surrounding materials." He has exhibited work in Chicago, New York, and Charleston, SC.
Yoonshin Park is a curator, educator, and book & paper artist who exhibits nationally and internationally. She was a 2023-24 HATCH resident at Chicago Artists' Coalition, is an alumna of the Center Program at Hyde Park Art Center, and is represented by Zolla/Lieberman Gallery in Chicago.
Cesar Conde is an activist artist creating large stunning portraits, including his series In the Hood and his current series AmeriKKKa. He aims to create art that is a uniting force in these difficult and divisive times.
Shawn Lucas specializes in the design and creation of modern, high-end stained glass lamps, combining wood and glass.
