Creating the 2026 Mackinac Meet Up tee...so excited...sneak peak.As in previous years we will meet up On Windermere Point at approx 11am. All dogs must be leashed and no flexi leads. if your dog needs a stroller, bring it; if they use a sling or back pack, bring it.
We will do the Mackinac Island Carriage Tour, simply because it hits the major spots. There are opportunities to get off at Surrey Hill (shops, snacks, bathrooms) and a quick stop at Arch Rock. We can exist at Fort Mackinac and do the Fort Self guided tour if that is general consensus. There are some really nice pet friendly outdoor eateries we can venture to a dinner meal. I will also offer a Wine Down at my house, with wine, soft drinks and water with cheese and crackers! If you are staying off Island, check the boat schedules,
this time of year there is a late boat off the Island More to follow!
I prefer to use Arnold Transit Company, there is a daily parking fee but less than Shepler's. You can accessed via Mackinaw City or St Ignace. I prefer St Ignace. If you are coming from the Chicagoland area, I prefer to come up via WI, less congested. Just Cathy's thoughts♡
