Catherine Cho is the author of Inferno: A Memoir of Motherhood andMadness. She was shortlisted for The Sunday Times Young Writer of theYear and the Jhalak Prize in 2020. Her writing has appeared in the EastSide Voices collection, Sunday Times Magazine, Sunday Times Style,Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Grazia, i Paper and Refinery29. She hasspoken at Hay Festival, Edinburgh International Book Festival, Cheltenham Literature Festival and ESEA Lit Fest. Catherine founded her own literary agency Paper Literary in 2021. Originally from Kentucky in the United States, she now lives with her family in London.
Born in Sudan, Y.M. Abdel-Magied's first job as a teenager was in a coal mine in rural Australia. After graduating with first class honours in Mechanical Engineering, Abdel-Magied trained and worked as a MWD (Measurement While Drilling) contractor and drilling engineer across Europe, Australia, Asia and the US. At Sea is Abdel-Magied's first adult novel.
Sean Gilbert studied English at The University of Cambridge beforepursuing the Creative Writing Master's at UEA. He is a graduate of the Jewish Literary Foundation’s Genesis Emerging Writers Programme and the Penguin Write Now Emerging Writers programme. His non-fiction has appeared in Time Out, Metro, Clash, Theatre Full Stop and The Holborn and his short fiction has appeared in Storgy, Short Fiction, and Litro. He lives in London.
