This is an invite to a watch party at Abertay for the SICSA Pre‑CHI Day 2026 event being held in Stirling:

The plan is to gather and watch the talks together in a casual, drop‑in / drop‑out style throughout the day, with no pressure to stay for everything. Just come along for the talk that interests you, grab a seat, and enjoy the discussions.
This watch party is not a SICSA event, just something of convenience, since a few of us in Dundee were planning on watching the live stream together anyway. Feel free to pass this invitation on to anyone you think would be interested.

What is the Pre‑CHI Day about?
SICSA’s Pre‑CHI Day gives Scottish researchers an opportunity to rehearse their upcoming CHI presentations. For the rest of us, it’s a chance to hear brand‑new HCI research happening across Scotland, all without needing to travel to CHI and attend the conference itself.
