**ABOUT LEX LETO ::**
Lex Leto (they/them) is a flutist, vocalist, composer, and collaborator. Intimate and precise, delicate vocals are cradled in liquid synthesizers and ethereal harmonies. Lex’s practice is curious, playful, and loop-based. Their music is guided by the sound itself, building and layering until it bursts or falls apart. The sound is characterized by melodies you want to sing along to underscored by textured, floaty synthesizers that are inspired by dream pop but offer something darker, more insular. With sound as sovereign and performance as its vessel, Lex insists upon movement as integral to the creation and experience of their work. An artist who continually meets themself in the water, that ebbing, flowing, and transformation is heard within the music itself — Lex in the waves, the listener on the shore.
