Join Castro Merchants and a star-studded lineup for the official lighting ceremony of the famous Castro Holiday Tree, Monday, December 1st, 6:00 PM at Castro Street at 18th Street. We've got Santa scheduled to attend, local dignitaries, Sister of Perpetual Indulgence will bless our tree, the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus, the San Francisco Pride Band and a few more surprises.
We encourage everyone to take the time to attend as we officially ring (and sing!) in the holiday shopping season in the Castro. We are very pleased to be able to bring this touch of festive flair to the neighborhood and provide an Instagrammable moment (hashtag #welovethecastro) for residents and visitors alike, bringing much-needed consumer foot traffic to the Castro to support small businesses.
