Have you have ever considered becoming a CASA volunteer, our April training class in Pope County is a great opportunity to get started. Our next new volunteer training begins Tuesday, April 7th, and registration is now open.CASA volunteers are trained community members who advocate for children in foster care. Volunteers build a relationship with the child, stay informed about their case, and speak up in court for what is in the child’s best interest. For many children, a CASA volunteer is the one steady, supportive adult they can count on during a challenging time.
Training will take place on Tuesday evenings and will walk you through everything you need to know to feel confident, prepared, and supported in the role. No prior experience is needed, just a heart for helping children and a willingness to learn.
If you are looking for a meaningful way to give back and make a lasting difference in a child’s life, we would love to have you join us.
