Join Tim Swanson owner of Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival for this very special wood carving activity. Woodcarving is a meditative activity that you can do almost anywhere. A small wooden animal is a special piece that can fit in your hand and is perfect for all levels of carvers.
Using simple tools: a fixed blade knife, hook knife, saw, and sandpaper, you will be instructed on the techniques of selecting wood, safe carving techniques, and how to care for your new little friend. This workshop is intended for ages 9 and up, each child must be accompanied by an adult. All materials are included. In this class you will learn:

- Sanding & Oiling
- Aftercare
PLEASE REGISTER ALL PARTICIPANTS (adults and children). EACH CAREGIVER AND CHILD WILL MAKE AN ANIMAL TO TAKE HOME.
